My name is Glen, I make a lot of playful, nature inspired pottery that blends function with whimsy. I'm inspired by sculpting minimal designs onto classic forms and using bright colors.

@_amybrockman

Amy Brockman is a multi-disciplinary artist & potter from Rhode Island. After graduating from the University of Hartford, Hartford Art School, she joined a community pottery studio to continue learning and expanding her arts practice. Outside of working full time as a post-production associate at an architectural photography studio, she dedicates countless hours pursuing and exploring clay as a means of creative expression. With a focus on functionality, her work often features hand drawn botanical illustrations, sgraffito, and carved details.

Missy Niemeyer

My business name is Missy’s Clayworks and I create unique functional pottery in my home studio in Tolland, CT. I enjoy experimenting and creating new designs that are inspired by my love of animals, nature, texture and the whimsical. All my pieces are handmade and decorated using a variety of techniques including stamping, glazing, hand painting, decals, and sgraffito. Sgraffito is Italian for “scratch” and it is a technique in which underglaze is applied to leather-hard clay and then designs are carved/scratched through the surface to reveal the color of the lower layer of clay.
