    Note: Complimentary artist membership can be for the studio owner, studio manager, or other preferred party

  • Option to host CTCG members meetings, workshops, and other events

  • Option to apply to be a “Host Studio” during our annual “Clay Crawl”

    • Free table/booth fee for one artist (this can be the studio owner, studio manager, or other preferred party)

    • Option to dedicate a small area to their studio’s student/member work (Note: registered Guest Artists should be prioritized in the space.)

Monthly Member Meetings

Once a month, we host a potluck style members meeting at a different ceramic studio here in Connecticut.

All Are Welcome

Our monthly meetings are for our paying members. However, we also have an “all are welcome” policy and highly encourage artists or studio owners to attend a meeting to come come share food and see what we are about in person before becoming a member.

Meeting Structure

Most member meetings will follow the following format

  • Welcome & Potluck (30-40 min.)

    Relax, mingle, network, socialize, and snack

  • Guild Updates (30 min)

    Getting down to business

  • Community Forum & Upcoming Events (20-30 min.)

    A chance to share or promote upcoming events, or share any questions or concerns with the group

  • “Mini Workshop”, Artist Talk, Demo or Group Activity (20-40 min.)

    Each meeting will have something new and different to look forward to

  • Memberships last for one year and can be paid annually or monthly.

  • Artist Membership

    • $10/month or $110/year if paid once a year

    Artist Membership with student discount

    • $8/month or $88/year if paid once a year

    Studio or Business Membership (includes one free Artist Membership for the studio owner or manager)

    • $18/month or $198/year if paid once a year

  • Yes. If you choose to pay monthly your credit or debit card will automatically be charged on the same day each month.

  • Bringing food or drinks is never a requirement to show up to a meeting. We would much rather you show up without food than not show up at all.

    It’s ok if you can’t cook but still would like to bring something. We can always use drinks, ice, paper plates, cups, or napkins.

  • No. We try to schedule meetings when most of our members have availability. However, we understand that everyone’s schedule is different. We also understand that some meeting locations are not always going to be convenient for everyone. Because each meeting is at a different studio, there are going to be times where a meeting is farther away than you would like to drive.

    Meeting notes will be emailed out with in a few days of each meeting so that anyone who was unable to attend can stay upto date on things.

  • To date, most of our meetings have been in the Hartford or New Haven areas of the state. The reason for this is because that is where the founding members of CTCG live and have the most connections.
